Eaglercraft servers

Eaglercraft servers are what turn the browser client from a sandbox into a neighborhood.

Servers are also where the game keeps breathing. A solo world is what you make it; a server has other people trading, building and fighting in it at 3am your time.

The whole thing runs in a browser tab. No installer, no launcher, no account handshake before you can look at a world. Open the page and the client boots above.

This page runs the client so you can test a connection or play solo while you set things up. The sections below cover how server lists work, which version to pick, and the etiquette that keeps public worlds playable.

From the client title screen, choose multiplayer and add the server address you want to join. Public server lists publish the addresses; paste one in, connect, and you spawn at that server's hub.

Before joining, check which version a server runs. A 1.8.8 server wants an Eaglercraft 1.8.8 client; a server on the modern line wants an Eaglercraft 1.21 client. Mismatched versions are the number one reason connections fail.

Once you are in: read the rules board at spawn. Most servers gate areas behind a rank or a short build check, and reading first saves you a mute.

Survival servers are the default: persistent worlds where your builds stay overnight. Minigame servers rotate short rounds – bed wars, skyblock, parkour. PvP servers are the 1.8 scene's home turf.

Judge a server by its spawn area. A hub that is legible, with signs instead of guesswork, usually means the staff sweat the details elsewhere too.

Prefer servers that list their version and rules in plain text. Servers that hide both tend to be the ones where something surprises you an hour in.

WASD moves, space jumps, mouse looks. Left click breaks blocks, right click places them or uses the held item. E opens inventory, Esc pauses and opens the menu, T opens chat.

On a touch device the client shows on-screen controls. A keyboard and mouse remain the better way to play anything involving fighting or building at speed.
